So I was was thinking about movies today, and all the weird cliches from them so here is a list I came up with.
- Anybody eating Chinese always eats it with chopsticks out of the box.
- Lots of times real heroes never kill people. Stuff just falls on the bad guys or something. Especially in Smallville which I realize is not really a movie, but whatever.
- Whenever people in movies go to bed they look out the window and the moon is always full.
- In action films the only bad thing that ever happens to the main guy is he gets a scratch across his cheek just under his eye and sometimes a bloody nose or lip.
- The movie world seems to have very unreliable phone lines/local law enforcement
- Nearly all ancient legends/prophecies are true
- In horror movies people always trip on nothing when they are running away. But actually I think this would happen to me in real life too. I trip over nothing all the time why not when I’m being chased by a murder?
- Whenever characters use a radio alarm it always goes off right when the radio dj is saying something to the effect of “Rise and shine! It’s going to be a beautiful morning here in LA”
- If you are in Paris the Eiffel tower is always visible from all windows. If your in London it’s Big Ben.
- The School buses always honk twice for the kids inside to come out to get to school. My bus driver never did this for me in Elementary. I’m pretty sure he just left if you weren’t out there on time.
- Whether or not they actually win the main heroes and the main rivals will always make it into the finals of any given competition.
- Doors: Not as sturdy as they look
- Enemies tend to have horrible aim when shooting guns

Haha! So true, made my day.
(:
This is great! Also people that are supposed to meet, stand or walk next to each other a hundred times before they finally take notice. Hello, wouldn’t you notice if you kept seeing the same person over and over and over during a day??
I love smallville. Yeah. This is all true. lol
I love the Chinese food observation. It kills me because I can barely use a fork when eating Chinese food, and I don’t know what’s wrong with my Chinese take out places, but I never get those handy dandy cartons.
BTW, thanks for the comment over at my blog. I like you, and when I like someone, I add them to my blogroll.
When movie people bring home groceries. they are all most allways in plain brown paper bags, and packed so you can see a carton of eggs and a paper carton of milk and large loaf of bread sticking out. Who uses paper any more and who put the eggs, milk and bread in the same bag?
