My mom’s a teacher, true story, and because of her I realized that I could never be a teacher.
I was never a big fan of Andy Warhol. I appreciate what he did, and how he was an original, but I prefer more traditional art, I suppose. I had a friend that loved him, and I never really did myself.
I love Jackson Pollock, though. Go figure.
I always wonder how Pollock got so famous doing what he did, but it’s sort of impressive. I like impressionism and post-impressionism best. I’m not really a big modern art fan either.
Edward Hopper = The Best Ever.
I think that Pollock’s work wouldn’t have succeeded if not for the scope of it. Some of his paintings took up huge walls.
